GDH Yungang City

Located in the core area of Baiyun New Town, Guangzhou, Yungang city project is a large-scale comprehensive property project composed of residential buildings, office buildings and businesses.
The designer hopes to show this public space with a new attitude and make it a city business center. The large-scale folded shape continues the symbolic shape of the building and echoes with the local humanistic elements. Green plants and natural elements, as well as the planning and layout of social space, break the sense of distance of traditional business office space and give the lobby a humanized space atmosphere. The designer selects the works of the artist Kendall buster and the new growth / laminar flow model as the main installation art in the lobby, which is not only a response to the Baiyun Mountain where the project is located, but also a metaphorical communication to the project name "Yungang city". It looks like both a miniature mountain contour model and a loose cloud. The stacked resin slices look like naturally cut cloth, giving people a sense of lightness and endless imagination.
