Subtle Illumination

The lack of base lighting is the focus of the design, and creates a space for meditation and restoring inner peace to seek family memories and emotional development through daily life.
After surveying the base, it was found that the internal lighting originates from dispersed sunlight. The designer believes the concealed nature of the space can be expanded using certain items, and thus meet the needs of privacy and interactivity. The hollow and curved surface tones down the amount of light and enhances the presence of the shadows. The contrasting and calm environment eases psychological fluctuations, and the instinct of people being attracted towards light creates a purifying effect. The entrance is divided using sculpted art to create a two-way flow for spatial depth and create boundaries between areas.
