Interior design aims to create a spatial environment that meets individuals’ material and spiritual needs. This is an interior design project for a residence. The designers have cleverly divided the space pattern, geometric patterns, lines, colors, materials, and other elements into it properly to interpret the modern taste of the residence for the homeowners to create the ideal home style. Entering the dustroom area, one will find that the titanium-plated grille combined with the stone wall as a screen solves the feng shui problem and allows the space to retain its independence and sense of permeability. Entering the public area, the designer uses a sloping staircase ceiling design to alleviate the oppressive feeling caused by the shrinking of the space. Considering the residents' storage needs, a full-faced storage cabinet is planned on one side. The horizontal wood-grained door design maintains the space's sense of simplicity, which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. To provide the homeowners with an open space for activities, the living room, dining room, and kitchen areas are integrated without any partition design, thereby enlarging the sense of space and increasing the frequency of interaction between the homeowners and their family to enhance their emotional relationship. In the shared living space, black, white, and gray tones combined with stone and wood are used as the base, supplemented by some jumping colors, leather, and iron elements to shape the atmosphere of each area. The living room is decorated in gray with a touch of orange. The dining room is decorated with crystal chandeliers reflecting the unique light and shadow. In addition, using topaz with a staggered partition line adds visual layers. The kitchen is bright and white to balance the lightness and darkness of the space. Moving slowly to the private area, one will notice the master bedroom is decorated in orange with black and blue, highlighting the homeowner's fashionable taste and style through contrasting colors. Towards the second bedroom, the earthy yellow and coffee colors create a comfortable resting atmosphere and provide a calm and stable sleeping experience through the warm color configuration.
