Tea Pavilion

Located on the shortcut to the ancient road of Yangmingshan, the site was originally a leftover space with abandoned courtyards. However, under a transformation of the designer, the light hut makes the reception center like a tea feast floating between mountains and clouds, inviting people to sit on the ground between heaven and earth and enjoy the coolness of tea soup; one side is like a white box-like sample house, from the idea of American life in the Tianmu, starting from the life taste and social needs of the high-income groups in place, and magnifying the concept of wine cellar, so that people can imagine the happy time of drinking with friends in this world.

The small and irregular base of this case, coupled with the relatively hidden place, is often easy to be ignored. To this end, the designer first uses the outer open space to contain those odd edges and corners, and enlarges the width of reception center to create a neat and broad visual sense. Moreover, the semi-outdoor atrium is designed to open the connection between tea mat space and Yangmingshan, and the tent roof truss with a turning point is integrated into the mountain view, covering the old buildings nearby, and becoming a quiet and leisurely corner that cannot be ignored with a light posture. The showroom on the side is a box-shaped independent space with floor-to-ceiling glass, bringing a complete imagination of an ideal life of Tianmu, and blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor with clear glass, making "nature" the common language of the reception center and the showroom.

When working on the showroom, the designer maximizes the public area as much as possible, and uses the open kitchen design to reduce rigid compartments, let the sunlight and air flow naturally, and then match the calm color tone, as well as natural materials such as marble, wood and leather, giving the atmosphere of mature but not massaging charm.
