KUNMING HUAFA ACADEMY MANSION

Located in Xishan District, Kunming, KUNMING HUAFA ACADEMY MANSION is in a city park in the Caohai area, adjacent to Dayu Road, near Hangrui Highway, north of Mount Mian, south of Caohai, surrounded by residential areas, which makes a natural place for people to enjoy. Regarded as the reception room of cultural tourism city blended with the human habitat area which is featured with the beautiful mountain-and-sea scenery. With the above-mentioned excellent location and ecological resources, the master planning design emphasizes the design of integrity and unity which is inherited by the successful context of the project’s previous phases, and implements those unified architectural language and style throughout the entire project.
In terms of the facade design, the whole elevation with details follows the principles of simplicity, modernity and refinement which inherits the traditional facade elements of the previous phases, and extracts the form and details of the Xishan Dragon Gate to echo with the site of uniqueness. Due to abandoning the application of traditional unique material, the design adopts new breakthroughs through the application of complicated craftsmanship. The façade is cladded in different materials included glasses, aluminum panels, granite, and stone painting which are integrated in an orderly manner. Besides, the rationally design of the balconies maximizes the orientation towards the landscaping resources for the residential towers. As a result, the architectural language is created by the proper combination of the facade material. The facade expresses the benchmark design of the contemporary architectural style.
