This residential space planning project showcases a thoughtful design approach that prioritizes both aesthetic appeal and the comfort of its occupants. To mitigate the challenges presented by structural elements such as beams and columns, as well as sharp corners that can contribute to a sense of unease, the design team embraced the client's vision. The implementation of a “rounded arc” design serves to soften these harsh lines, creating a more inviting atmosphere. The gentle curves guide the eye fluidly throughout the space, instilling a sense of harmony. In consideration of the diverse needs of young and elderly family members, meticulous attention was given to the finishing of cabinets and walls, which feature thoughtfully designed curved edges. This design choice not only enhances safety but also fosters a warm, welcoming environment that is visually appealing.

The overarching theme of the design reflects a “light luxury” ethos, utilizing a sophisticated palette of greys and creams to cultivate a home that exudes elegance while remaining cozy and inviting. In addition to its aesthetic considerations, this residence embraces cutting-edge technology, seamlessly integrating the features of a fully electronic home. This modern approach ensures that residents enjoy an exceptional living experience—one that is not only stylish but also practical and convenient, perfectly aligning with the demands of contemporary life.

Upon entering the residence, guests will be greeted by an impressive end wall, elegantly crafted from luxurious stone tiles and titanium-plated metal. This stunning feature not only complements the overall aesthetic of the space but also provides a remarkable focal point. The communal areas are designed to evoke a sense of sophistication, showcasing a harmonious blend of reflective stone surfaces, irregularly shaped sofas, and a Morandi grey back wall, all of which work together to create a balanced visual environment. The thoughtful design extends to the curved beams and columns throughout the room, where their soft edges diminish their visual weight, contributing to an overall sleek and inviting atmosphere.
