In the Name of Architecture, Reshaping a New Paradigm of Urban Habitation
At the golden intersection of Yecheng Road and Pingliang Avenue in Jianye District, Nanjing, an innovative work of "the 4th-generation residence" that carries the ideal of future habitation is rising. Surrounded by luxury residences such as Zhongning Mansion and Song of the Yangtze River, this area has already become a symbol of high-end urban living.
The project plans 10 residential buildings with 23-24 floors, adhering to the concept of an ecological community and meticulously creating a spacious and upright enclosed garden. The central garden unfolds with imperial grandeur, covering an area of up to 12,800 square meters with a greening rate of 36.5%, creating a green world where residents feel as if they are in nature. The buildings are arranged in a staggered layout, and the south-facing normal lines of the windows are cleverly offset, ensuring that each household can enjoy ventilation and sunlight, as well as an open view and ample sunshine. Scientific research shows that natural light has a positive impact on mental health, which can improve mood and reduce depression and anxiety; an open view can alleviate stress and bring a sense of relaxation and calm. This design is a profound care for the physical and mental health of residents.
In terms of space design, inspired by global high-end models, we have delved into the aesthetic core of Nanjing's Six Dynasties and innovatively launched a 6.6-meter high-ceiling design language for the living room, endowing the "sky courtyard" with a soul. This unprecedented spatial scale breaks the constraints of Nanjing's traditional living patterns and leads Nanjing's habitation to a new height. The positioning of "sky courtyard villa, pioneering the 4th-generation residence" accurately responds to the Chinese people's supreme living belief of "having a front yard and a back yard, with sky, earth and a courtyard", presenting a brand-new lifestyle for the city's top-tier population.
