Pure White Moments

Located in Taoyuan, the project benefits from excellent natural lighting and generous ceiling height. The designer therefore adopted “Pure White Moments” as the central theme, introducing subtle rugged elements within a minimalist and pristine palette. This approach reflects the homeowner’s personality while preserving the gentle character of family life.
The design strategy centers on the addition of a mezzanine platform, allowing the original double-height space to extend into a multifunctional level where work, social gatherings, and relaxation can shift freely within the same environment. White serves as the dominant tone throughout the interior, while layered materials introduce texture and warmth within the minimalist composition.
The most distinctive feature of the space lies in the staircase and mezzanine structure. The designer introduced metal mesh into the interior, using it as both the staircase screen and mezzanine railing. Commonly found in outdoor or industrial environments, the material was finished with white powder coating, transforming it into a lightweight yet characterful interior element.
The metal mesh maintains visual permeability while adding a crisp industrial accent, allowing a subtle ruggedness to emerge within the pure white environment.
