In State of Leisure

Soft, poetic and sensational, this project of 165m2 residence is a cohesive work of the designer’s dedication in spatial planning and the gentle female touch of the homeowner. Around the theme ‘Vacation’, the design approach focuses on open layout as well as functionality.

A consistent tone of light oak runs throughout the space, each functional zone is then given identity using assigned color and texture from similar palette. The project speaks of great respect for family life and values, an expression of aesthetic sense rather than a customary design.

Through intricate mix-match of wood, metal, stone, leather and woven textile, the vibes and rhythm of life is showcased via layering, lightness vs density, and tangibility against transparency. The vivid expression of space progresses from day-to-day and becomes inseparable part of a four-member family’s real life story.
