Translating the Intersection of Past and Present, Crafting a New Chapter of Oriental Dwelling
Chenfeng Flows Villa is strategically located along the Yaojiang River in the Shushan area, the core of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. Deeply perceiving the historical context and humanistic temperament of the site, it interprets the artistic conception of South China ink wash with contemporary design language, creating a high-end residential community rooted in Oriental traditions and facing the future.
Riverside Living, Reshaping the Relationship Between Humans and Environment
The western riverside interface of the project serves as the planning core. The design accurately captures the scarcity of river views and park resources, arranging 500-square-meter large-scale townhouses along the waterbank to achieve in-depth integration of "landscape and residence". The 270° panoramic view breaks spatial boundaries, making natural resources the backdrop of daily life, reshaping the harmonious relationship between humans, architecture and nature, and initiating a new paradigm of riverside living.
Homecoming Route, Interpreting Oriental Rhythm
The homecoming route unfolds along the east-west axis, cleverly integrating the ritual sense of high-end hotels with the changing scenery of Oriental gardens. The approximately 51-meter-long entrance and 9.5-meter-high courtyard gate create a noble yet warm arrival experience. Rare stones such as "Emerald Valley Orchid" and "Platinum Diamond" are selected for materials, with elegant textures and flowing luster, demonstrating understated luxury in details.
The top courtyard adopts a three-well layout of "one main and two auxiliary", scientifically guiding natural light into the room and shaping rich spatial expressions with time changes. At night, warm light strips connect seamlessly, creating a warm scene of "golden radiance embracing the jade hall, returning with joyous chants". The sunken water courtyard introduces water through cascading levels, enabling symbiosis between architecture and water—flowing waterfalls and buildings reflected in the pool add a sense of floating. Alleys are enclosed by hedges and dotted with flowers and trees, realizing a poetic transition from urban hustle to private tranquility, allowing residents to enjoy a relaxed feeling of returning home at every step.
