Location & Context :Commanding a prominent position on the shores of Lingshan Bay in Qingdao’s West Coast Huangdao District, the project stands adjacent to the Oriental Movie Metropolis. With a gross floor area exceeding 200,000 square meters, this development stands as a signature landmark representing the modern coastal new city. It serves not only as a strategic hub for the big data industry but also as a striking visual focal point within the regional urban landscape.
Design Features & Layout :The complex comprises eight office towers arranged to enclose a circular courtyard, creating a space with a strong sense of convergence that resembles a "Crown." To imbue the structure with movement, the design employs a clever sloped profile—elevated in the north and dipping in the south—with a maximum height of 80 meters. This configuration lends the cluster a dynamic aesthetic that appears to extend southward. The façade features a faceted curtain wall system where precise modularity and standardization effectively balance strict cost control with a harmonious, unified visual impact.
Core Highlights
Landmark Entrance: The two tallest towers are bridged by a soaring, three-story glass atrium. This grand main entrance not only physically connects the structures but also projects a prestigious, high-end corporate image ideal for headquarters.
Central Focal Point: At the heart of the courtyard lies a distinct glass-volume auditorium accented with metal detailing. Symbolizing the "digital brilliance" of the big data sector, this structure serves both as a functional conference hub and a visual anchor that enhances the cohesion of the central space.
Technological Atmosphere: The ground level utilizes high-transparency glass to create an open, permeable public realm. This design choice perfectly articulates the modern technological sophistication and innovative vitality inherent to the big data industry.
